  • In the last week, have you been for a 30-minute or longer walk?
  • Do you notice that you feel happier after you exercise?
  • In the last week, have you played a team sport outside of school time?
  • In the last 48 hours, have you participated in a moderate physical activity?
  • Would you meet the recommended guidelines of 60 minutes of physical activity each day?

Debrief:

Physical activity can include walking the dog, going to the gym or playing a sport. It’s very important that students maintain an exercise routine throughout periods of stress, as it can help clear the mind and relax the body.

Suggest to students that they set some exercise-related goals.
