Instructions

5 minutes

Students reflect on the skills they have for the future of work.

  • Students rank the following five skills from 1 (their strongest skill) to 5 (their weakest skill):

    • Complex problem solving

    • Critical thinking

    • Creativity

    • Coordinating with others

    • Emotional intelligence.

  • Students access the ReachOut.com article 'Skills for the future of work'. Reflecting on their ranking, they list five ways they can continue to develop their skills. Encourage students to take a strength-based approach and to consider the things they feel they are good at.
